Dazzling. This catches the eye like a jewel sparkling in the sunshine. It is smaller, altogether brighter and more contrasting in colour than its parent 'Striptease' and less blue than 'Kiwi Full Monty', although the resemblance is clear to see. It will be happy to grow in some sun. Pale lavender flowers in late summer complete the picture.

    I bought this as a tiny plant from the Bowden display at Hampton Court a couple of years ago. Now in its 3rd season, in full sun and on heavyish soil, it is magnificent and exactly as shown in the image on the Bowden website. We have lots of hostas and even more slugs but Gypsy Rose is essentially untouched. Impressively vigorous, I'll certainly get 10 good-sized plants when I split this clump next Spring!
