Thick and tough, the slugs will turn away from this one! They don't like the long stems of the vase-shaped hosta, nor the toughness of the greyish-green leaves. The origin of 'Liberty', this one was voted the American Hosta Growers 'Hosta of the Year' 2000. It comes up early and continues to look good all through the season.
